Remote Orthodontic Monitoring With GRIN

GRIN gives eligible patients a convenient way to share guided images of their teeth with the orthodontic team between scheduled office visits. Remote monitoring can help the doctor review aligner fit, tooth movement, oral hygiene, appliance concerns, or other treatment details without requiring an unnecessary trip to the office.

How to Use GRIN Successfully

Follow the instructions provided by The Schulhof Center and the GRIN app when capturing and submitting scans. Clear, complete images help the clinical team evaluate progress. Submit scans according to your prescribed schedule and respond promptly if the team requests additional images or recommends an in-person appointment.

GRIN does not replace every office visit, emergency evaluation, or direct examination. Call the office if you experience significant pain, swelling, trauma, a broken appliance, or another urgent concern. Availability and monitoring schedules vary by patient and treatment plan.
